Nomad’s Bino Harness: Functionality Plus Much More

Nomad’s newest adaptation of the bino harness is geared toward turkey hunters.

Is it possible to replace a turkey vest with a binocular harness and still have everything you need? So many variables go into that question, it’s difficult to provide one blanket answer; however, if you want to go lighter and not have to combine vest and harness for hunting on the move, Nomad’s Bino Harness might be the answer.

Nomad’s newest adaptation of the bino harness is geared toward turkey hunters, featuring a Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) system that gives the hunter control over what accessories, if any, are needed. The adjustable harness slips comfortably over the shoulders and provides a secure rest for binos 42mm and smaller. An internal, detachable lens cloth is a nice addition and multiple smaller pockets provide room for mouth calls, locator calls, a few shells and maybe a snack bar for the minimalist hunter. Add a seat cushion, and the turkey vest becomes optional depending on your style of hunting.

Need more gear? Nomad’s Bino Harness’ MOLLE system allows you to easily add box call, frictional call, rangefinder and Thermacell attachments (all available through Nomad) to the compact central harness. Adding a few attachments provides everything needed for a hunt and can eliminate the turkey vest and harness combo in the spring at a lower cost, plus it’s ideal for fall deer hunts, scouting and much more.

Check out Nomad’s Bino Harness, which carries an MSRP of $100, here. Each additional attachment can be found at www.nomadoutdoor.com for $30 each.
