The Dutch Fork Chapter is one of three NWTF chapters in Lexington County, South Carolina, yet it still hosts a successful event each year thanks to the dedicated volunteers and members.

At this year's banquet, 16-month-old Wil Frick won both a 2022 NWTF Mud Truck and a black lab puppy named Suzy thanks to his grandmother and his father.

Wil's grandmother, Leigh Ann Whitticar, first picked up the Mud Truck for Wil during the event's live auction.

As Wil had also taken a liking to the puppy donated by Mark Hook of the Batesburg Leesville NWTF Chapter, Wil's father Aaron Frick made sure he didn't let his son down.

"The future of hunting lies in our youth," said Richard White, Dutch Fork Chapter member and volunteer. " I cannot think of anything that showcases the future of our lifestyle more than this young boy smiling in his truck or the friendship between him and his dog."

"Events like the Dutch Fork Chapter Banquet would not be possible without all of our great sponsors," said Bobby Phibbs, NWTF regional director. "Eric Boland and Boland's Ace Hardware in Chapin underwrite the food and bar at this banquet and they also purchase sponsor tables. They have been doing this for many years and are somewhat of a title sponsor to this event, helping to make it the success that it is."
